Campus Resilience & Response

Campus Resiliance and Response is comprised of the following functions:

  • Parking, Campus Disability Resource Center, Emergency Operations, Risk Management, and Environmental Health and Safety.

  • Contracts and Procurement, Enterprise Business Strategy, and Business Improvement.

Facilities Management

Facilities Management is responsible for construction projects and operation of Humboldt facilities. Departments within Facilities Management include Planning and Design, Plant Operations, Facility Support Services and Sustainability. Facilities Management is the invisible campus community responsible for meeting the daily operational needs of the university's buildings, grounds and utilities.

Human Resources

The Office of Human Resources and Academic Personnel Services (HR&APS) provides guidance and leadership for human resources and faculty affairs planning, policy design, systems, and services aimed at fostering productivity, innovation, safety, and a climate of success in the workplace. We contribute to business strategy development while being mindful of our responsibility to the greater community and the well-being of our employees.

The dedicated staff in HR&APS are committed to providing excellent human resource and academic personnel programs, creating partnerships, and developing creative systems to attract, retain, develop and engage a diverse and talented group of staff, administrators, and faculty. Payroll is part of Human Resources.

University Budget Office

The University Budget Office provides leadership and support in the planning and allocating of campus resources, including developing and implementing budgets, training and educating the campus on financial concepts, policies and processes and collaborating with the campus community to advance the University Mission.

University Police

The University Police Department (UPD) provides a safe and secure environment for the Cal Poly Humboldt community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It oversees crime prevention, multi-hazard emergency planning, general security, and parking administration and enforcement. Its duties also include criminal and traffic investigation, law enforcement, escorts of valuables and equipment, reporting of safety hazards, assistance to motorists, and assistance to other law enforcement and social service agencies.
